ENID CAPRON PRIMARY
The Enid Capron Primary School, formerly Five Cays Primary existed since the 1930’s. This school was first housed in a one-room building situated at the southern end of Five Cays. The existing building started construction in 1975 and was completed in 1976. This was due because of the influence of Pastor Tom Rigby and many other Five Cays residents. The student population increased dramatically during the years.
The school was renamed Enid Capron Primary on May 25th, 1993 under the leadership of Mr. Willard Cummings. Our patron, Mrs. Enid Capron, served in the teaching profession for about 33 years. Indeed, she has had a great impact on the lives of many students and for this we are grateful.
Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa adopted the Enid Capron Primary School in March of 1998. Currently, the school has a total of 373 students and 26 teachers.
