There were
many categories of boat races in this years regatta, "A" class
(boats approx 30') , "B" class (boats approx 20'), the Resort
Challenge pitted the various local resorts against each other racing
the Hobie 13 and Hobie races for kids and adults all day long. This
year's Fools Regatta also featured a good number of TCI sloops, represented
by Provo, Middle, North, and South. Prize money was supplied PPC, Johnston,
and the Sands.
  
Conch
salad, fritters, and other fare was washed down with locally brewed
cold beer and other cold drinks served by Rotary. There was a sand
castle competition, tug of war, and volleyball. There was music all
day long with the main attraction being the Provo Primary steel drum
band. At sunset the Junkanoo brought the close to the festivities
after the awards presentation.

Open bid Calcutta for this event with all resorts from
Parrot Cay to Beaches having entered a Hobie 13.
Parrot Cay currently holds the Trophy.
